Responsibilities

  • Enter data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, or other data management systems.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing and cross-referencing source documents.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper files of data records.
  • Perform routine data cleaning, data validation, and error correction tasks.
  • Compile, sort, and organize data for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis as needed.
  • Follow data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data privacy in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Respond to data inquiries and requests from team members or clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and streamline data entry tasks.
  • Provide periodic reports and updates on data entry progress and completion.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a related administrative role.
  • Strong typing and 10-key numeric keypad skills with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, data entry software).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a data-intensive environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and correct data discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with document scanning and data capture technology is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific terminology or data types may be required for specialized roles.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills.
  • Speak and write in English.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.
